ABOUT ME
BEHIND THE LENS
Hafdis is an Icelandic artist who lives and works in London she studied life drawing and painting initially with Ken Howard RA (Royal Academy) among others.
Her interest in the human form led her to explore sculpture, an art form she feels suits her best.
Being a keen photographer she's traveled wide in her Homeland and has exhibitions both in London and Iceland, her special interest for many years.
She has been traveling and photographing Iceland particularly in the wild uninhabited centre highlands specialising in the extraordinary volcanic forms and textures which reflect in her collection of photographs.
